The HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi) (The Chinese Proficiency Test),is an international standardized test of Chinese language proficiency for non-native speakers.
It is administered by the Hanban, an agency affiliated with the Chinese Ministry of Education.
The new HSK, also known as the HSK 3.0 , is the latest revision of the test and was launched in July 1st, 2021.
There are three levels of speaking tests, namely the Beignner Leverl, Intermediate level), and Advanced level.
The HSK 3.0 assesses Chinese learners' abilities to use Chinese as a second language in their daily, academic, and professional lives through a standardized examination and evaluation with a uniform grading and scoring system.
It covers all levels of Chinese language proficiency, from beginner to advanced, and consists of nine levels.
The new HSK test format includes both multiple-choice and sentence-building questions, and is designed to test the test taker's listening, reading, and writing skills.
It aims to provide a more comprehensive evaluation of the test taker's language abilities and better reflect the practical use of Chinese in real life.
New HSK 3.0 includes 11092 vocabulary words in total, with 3 levels and 9 bands. You can access each level of vocabulary list with Pinyin and English.
